Annual BamaJam Music & Arts Festival, Multi-Million Dollar Country Crossing Resort Complex—Among Gilley Holdings That Provide Stages For Music’s Biggest Names.
(Nashville, Tennessee)—January 11, 2010 – Major on the 2010 business docket of veteran Nashville talent executive Tony Conway’s newly formed entertainment consulting firm will be Conway’s just announced appointment as talent consultant & executive producer for Ronnie Gilley Entertainment—a diversity of live entertainment interests that currently include the annual BamaJam Music & Arts Festival, as well as the multiplex of venue stages at Gilley’s sprawling new multi-million dollar Country Crossing destination resort near Dothan, Alabama.
In a surprise announcement this past November, Conway stepped away as CEO and co-owner of Nashville based Buddy Lee Attractions after a thirty-three year association with the agency in order to pursue his growing interests within the music business. This is phase one of several projects and companies Conway will announce in the next few weeks.

Conway currently serves as both Executive Producer of the 2010 staging of BamaJam Music & Arts Festival, being presented this year June 3rd thru 5th in Enterprise, Alabama, as well as the June 10-13 presentation of the annual CMA Music Festival in Nashville.
As part of his new association, he will consult on talent & the development of additional special events, festivals and live music concert presentations in the planning stages for the Ronnie Gilley Entertainment group.
Conway is this year taking the talent reins for RGE on the biggest outdoor presentation yet for the 3rd Annual Verizon Wireless BamaJam Music & Arts Festival, with more than 40 artists scheduled to appear on the event’s four music stages. The once seemingly insignificant site of a sprawling southeastern Alabama peanut field near Enterprise last year drew in excess of 125,000 fans from 47 states and 8 foreign countries. Artists announced to date, this year include Hank Williams, Jr., Kenny Chesney, Jake Owen, Miranda Lambert, and LoCash Cowboys.
Conway will also, this week, oversee talent presentation for the weekend’s January 15th-17th Grand Opening celebration at Country Crossing. Twenty artists are set to perform over the three day extravaganza, including Tracy Lawrence, Joe Nichols, Darryl Worley, Neal McCoy, Lorrie Morgan, John Anderson, The Commodores, and Pam Tillis. Ribbon cutting media events are also set to celebrate the opening of five major themed attractions at the Gilley resort complex. Venues set to be officially opened this weekend include: George Jones Possum Holler Bed & Breakfast, Lorrie Morgan’s Hot Chicken, John Anderson’s Cafeteria, Darryl Worley’s Worley Bird Saloon, and The Grascals Bluegrass Hollow RV Park.
